This book was an awesome read. I'm looking forward to putting it to the test because I've already gotten tangible results in just 2 days! Will update this review in a few months9/29/2017 update: I still stand by this review. This book was my intro to Neville's teaching and I can't deny the fact that they work. I've spent 11 days running from Hurricane Irma this month, 6 of those days without power, but still made more money this month than any other month this year.I'm getting goosebumps just writing this because I haven't really setback and reflected on the last few months until now. In May, I made less than $1k (entrepreneurship) and this September I have actually 10x'd that number. I know, 10x less than $1k isn't like a crazy amount. But to go from thinking about not paying your credit cards, getting evicted, and having to tuck my tail between my legs and move back in with mamma, to paying extra on my credit cards and not worrying about rent is a pretty darn good feeling.To be fair, I can't give all the credit to this book. I do have the Neville Goddard: The Complete Reader and have read about half of it. I read a bunch of other books too and love NLP, but this is definitely the backbone of my philosophy on life now. And I found two of Neville's students on YouTube (Art Lindell and EO Locker Jr) which just gave me all the more confidence that this was real and to stick to these principles when I was pitying myself.One thing to note, I don't really sit on my butt and wait for things to come to me. I don't think this is like a magic recipe or something. I take action but have been making so much more progress with the same amount of effort. My life has been so much more synchronistic. I guess I used to be more forceful with taking action and now it's more inspired action or something. I don't know why or how, or if it's placebo, but it has worked for me.
This book is profound. I've read other books by Neville, but this one really got me (or I got it!). If you're ready to take charge of your life, step into your power and have you dreams come true, read this book.It's not always easy to digest that we create everything, especially when we're convinced it's our annoying co-worker's fault, if only "they" were nice to me or if only I had more money, went to a better school, etc. I'd feel better - it's easy to blame something or someone else for our annoyances or lack of fulfillment. However, Neville reveals how we are the cause and we can use our power to change our reality to one that we would like.There are many teachers that teach a similar message, but Neville's succinct and clear message reaches me. Be prepared to take notes and highlight important sections. It's a small book, but packed with life-changing wisdom.One issue I had is that I only had the option of buying the kindle version. I'd like to have the actual book, so I may underline certain points. Happy reading and best of luck on your journey.
Neville Goddard did it again..This truly was a book that all should read,if you want to change you mindset,for only you can change YOU...it feels so good wanting to be the best that you could be, but putting it to practice is amazing once you give in to yourself and pay close attention to your actions,feelings toward others and wishing all people well. This book is sending me on a life changing journey...Thank you, Neville.
There are all of these great books out there such as this one where it tells you that you have to put thoughts and desires into the universe, but with exception of this book, all of the other books are missing one key aspect that this book finally explains. When you are thinking and imagining the desire(s), it has to be as if you are seeing everything through your own physical eyes, NOT watching yourself but actually there in the moment itself, and for that alone this is not only a 5-star book, it is also an absolute must read for everyone!
I understand this is an older book but I really didn't like the author's writing. Most author's will slowly enter into their book with a story or a little background but he just immediately jumps into the content. It seemed very jarring to me since I'm so used to that structure in other books.The author also seemed obsessed with racism as he would stop to tell a story about a man feeling like he was cursed for the pigment of his skin. It seemed very corny to me which is why I don't understand all these 4-5 star reviews.I did appreciate the story of a man calling another man the N word over the phone, the black man didn't retaliate and just pretended like he didn't hear it. When he met the guy face to face, he was incredibly embarrassed and ended up buying $30,000 of property from him to "save face". I liked this story.Other than that, it was a poor read and incredibly short. I finished this in an hour. I'm not sure what all the buzz about this book is for. It's a below average book. I believe that "As A Man Thinketh" would be a better alternative than this book. It's an older book as well, covers the same premise but the writing is much, much better.

And Tim Grimes is by far the best at packaging, and delivering it in an easy to understand, and actionable way.I received an advance paperback copy, and 20 pages into it, I bought a Kindle copy so that I could notate, highlight, and have it everywhere I have my Kindle or internet access.
